NetWindows is a neat little piece of DHTML trickery. Billed as "a DHTML framework for component and code reuse," NetWindows lets you create windowed application environments within a Web browser. Interesting and kinda cool, though i'm not entirely sure what I'd use it for. It's an interesting foray, though, and a clear indication that Web and desktop GUI environments are going to continue becoming intertwined and intermingled as developers keep creating more "real" applications that blur the boundaries between Web and GUI environments.
